Renting NEAT Space

For your training convenience, the NEAT building is password protected wireless too!  

Primary Computer Lab: Containing scanners, printers and 18 personal computers and 1 iMac computer outfitted with the latest in adapted hardware and specialized software, the Computer Lab is available for training, evaluations and demonstrations. There are also two "Smart Boards" and a "ClassPad" available for use.

Secondary Computer Lab: Containing scanners, CCTV's and five personal computers outfitted with the latest in adapted hardware and specialized softeware geared specifically toward low vision and blindness is available for training, evaluations and demonstrations.

Training Room:  This 1,365 square foot classroom accommodates tables and chairs, or chairs only, seating up to 108 people.  The room can be divided by a sliding wall for breakout groups or concurrent training, serving 60 people on one side and 48 on the other.

Expo Hall: This 5,041 square foot space is ideal for conferences, product exhibitions and large meetings, with a seating capacity of 350 people. The room accommodates up to 35 booths in fully wired, computer-ready 8x10 foot spaces. A portable stage is also available. This space is very versatile and can be set up to suit your individual needs including seating with tables and chairs, surround sound and screen projection for your presentation.

Additional information: Availability may be limited during Expos, training sessions and NEAT events. Rental priority is given to members. Audio/visual equipment provided at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE when available. The NEAT Center can also provide LCD's and screens to project your presentations and has 18 laptop computers and 3 MacBook computers.

What is the cost to rent space at NEAT?

Training Room, Primary or Secondary Computer Labs = $400.00 full day/$200.00 half day

EXPO Hall = $500.00 full day/$250.00 half day

Full day = 4 to 8 hours

Half day = up to 4 hours

What if I need my event catered?

Our NEAT staff can assist you by either putting you in touch with local caterers or can work with you on planning your event and will add the cost incurred from a local caterer to your invoice.

What if I want to rent more than one room?

How may I pay for the rental?

We accept purchase orders (faxed, emailed or mailed), checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover or cash.
